The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed collation of the March 9 election results in Rivers State.
The commission last week slated April 2nd to 5th for resumption of collation of results of the last governorship and state Assembly elections held in that state.
The electoral umpire noted that elections had been concluded in 21 state constituencies and fixed April 13th April should there be any need for supplementary election.
The different stakeholders in the state’s elections have continued to throw accusations at each other, and INEC for wanting to allegedly scuttle the exercise, or rig the process in favor of the other.
