Keep Calm Everyone, Victoria Beckham Just Taught Us How to Get Her Smoky Eye

Beauty lovers, rejoice . . . Victoria Beckham just gave us all the secrets to her signature makeup look. VB has been promoting her new Estée Lauder products by blessing us all with short tutorials, which I'm guessing some of us may have watched more than once. However, the videos are short, and we've been wanting more. Luckily for us, she gave us exactly that this week!

Base

The secret to flawless skin according to VB is to illuminate and even the skin tone using the Victoria Beckham X Estée Lauder Morning Aura Illuminating Créme (£72). After this, Wendy applies a light layer of foundation using a brush to even out skin tone and brighten overall complexion. After finishing the complete makeup look, primer is added to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and the Cupid's bow to add an extra boost of radiance.

Eyes

VB likes a "strong, smoky, sexy, classic eye" — noted. In order to achieve this, she always does the liner first to get an intense look. She starts by taking the Eye Kajal Eyeliner in Java Vanille (£30) into the waterline to open up the eye. Then, taking the black liner, she applies it to the top and bottom lashes, smudging with fingers to make it look like "you haven't tried too hard." VB also likes to take it toward the outer edge of the eye, sweeping upward for a more dramatic liner look. Using the Estée Lauder Eye Palette (£60) in the burgundy shade, she applies into the socket of the eye to give intensity and colour without closing up the eye. The eye is finished with a generous amount of mascara.

Lips

VB says she doesn't leave the house without her nude lipstick so (in true Mean Girls fashion) we shall never leave our houses without nude lipstick from now on. According to Wendy, finding the perfect nude shade is all about going one shade lighter than your natural lip colour. She even notes that sometimes if you take your tinted moisturiser over your lips, you should find a shade that matches. After applying the main lip colour, VB likes to take a pink shade and apply this to the bottom and top lip, giving the illusion of a fuller pout.
And there you have it. Next time you do your makeup, channel your inner VB, and gives these tips a go.
